Accommodation:- With
just five en-suite rooms, and seven en-suite tents, the lodge
is a luxurious retreat in the heart of the Eastern Cape. Decorated
in a contemporary African Colonial style, the lodge possesses
the warmth and repose of home. Refurbished only two years ago,
the lodge also incorporates conference facilities accommodating
up to 30 people.
Activities:- Please note that
the Darlington lake Lodge is part of the Addo Elephant National
Park and the applicable gate fees will be charged. Canoeing with
paddle skis and kayaks available, mountain biking, 4X4 trails,
fishing, horse trails, sunset cruise, walking Trails, bird watching
and game drives.

Wildlife:- Did you know that
Addo Elephant National Park embraces the largest coastal dune
field in the southern hemisphere, not only does it pride itself
in the Big 7, elephant, rhino, lion, buffalo, leopard, southern
right whale and great white shark, it also protects the world's
largest Cape gannet propagation on Bird Island.
Access:- Shamwari Game Reserve is located about
one hour's drive from the city of Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape
Province, South Africa. There are regular jet flights to the city
many times a day from Cape Town, Johannesburg and Durban.
