Accommodation:- Eagles Crag consists
of nine individually built rooms to accommodate two guests. Each
room has its own private deck and plunge pool with an uninterrupted
view of the bush. The Lodge houses its own wellness spa and facilities
also include a dining area, library, business centre, lounge and
bar.
Activities:- Shamwari
Game Reserve has abundant wild life and The Big 5 are also to
be found here. Game viewing is carried out in the morning and
evening. An open Land Rover is used, so you can feel close to
Nature.
A Luxury Spa is availabe, where guests can awaken
their senses and allow their bodies to be rejuvenated. Several
massage therapies are offered including spa beauty and facial
treatments.
Wildlife:- Home to some 60 mammals,
300 bird species, 100 plant types and numerous reptile and insect
species, at Mabula, all natures' wonders are revered - from the
'Big Five' (lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant and rhino) to the
'small five' (ant lion, leopard tortoise, buffalo weaver, elephant
shrew and rhino beetle). This is the Heartland of the Safari experience.
Access:- Shamwari Game Reserve is located about
one hour's drive from the city of Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape
Province, South Africa. There are regular jet flights to the city
many times a day from Cape Town, Johannesburg and Durban.
